Hallo may anybody be so kind as to explain how the GMC changes ( licence to practice ) may effectively alter locum work in the UK. I have been working as a GP in Germany since 1990 and hold the GMC certificate as a GP listener since 2007. Unfortunately I did not happen to work as locum so far. Agencies seem of quite the same quality as they are europewide. Now as everybody who is stuck knows the GMC raises the fees substantially and I wonder whether to check out. On the other hand I still be interested to do locums as a GP if there would be any convenient possibility.

Hallo, kann man sich irgendwo darüber informieren, ob und wie es möglich ist, als deutscher Kieferorthopäde in GB zu arbeiten? Bei der Suche in diesem Forum habe ich nur eine Anfrage von 2004 zu dem Thema gefunden. Der Antwortende hatte aber leider KFO mit Kieferchirurgie verwechselt. Gibt es Anlaufstellen oder ist vielleicht jemand hier im Forum, der diesen Weg gegangen ist? Grüße Jo
