President’s statement
The Anglo-German Medical Association (AGMS) was founded in 1959 in order to rekindle the relations between Germany and Great Britain that had cooled significantly in the wake of the Second World War. Ever since then, a scientific meeting has been held annually.
Our LinkedIn Group offers all members the opportunity to ask questions and discuss relevant issues.
We have a long tradition but are always open to new projects that are of interest to both countries. If you need assistance implementing an idea, please contact us. We welcome your input.
If you are interested in working in the UK, we recommend the BMJ (British Medical Journal) website or one of the agencies listed there.
In addition, we work with English and German translation specialists, whose contact details can be found here.
Through our LinkedIn group, we also try to support German students in electives and work experience in the UK.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the members in our LinkedIn group.
